February 2015: Cold & Rain is slowing us down!

February has been a cold and rainy month for us this year.  We are all looking forward to spring and the warm days it will bring.  We really shouldn't complain, since our neighbors up north are being buried in snow and cold. Our plans are to re-open on March 3rd, 2015.  We have experience some delays in doing our annual maintenance on the boats due to the cold weather.  We hauled the boat out (shipyard) in mid February and we ended up with sleet and freezing weather for the last 2 weeks.  The water pipes froze and broke at the shipyard.  We are back on track and praying that warmer days come and stay.

The good thing about all this cold:  the spring flowers should be beautiful this year.  Those of you who have battled an extremely cold winter deserve a wonderful vacation.  So come on down and visit us along the Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach, SC.  Until then, here are some bird pictures to enjoy.  I really enjoy capturing wildlife on film and sharing it with others.
